Job Title: DB2 Database Administrator Location: Bengaluru Exp : 6-10 years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced DB2 Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, managing, and troubleshooting DB2 database clusters and ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our database systems. Key Responsibilities Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade DB2 databases and related products. Database Management: Manage and maintain all aspects of the database environment including performance tuning, capacity planning, and backups. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with DB2 clusters, including performance bottlenecks and replication problems. Clustering: Create and manage DB2 clusters to ensure high availability and disaster recovery. Security: Implement and manage database security measures to protect data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations. Monitoring and Performance: Continuously monitor database performance and implement improvements to enhance database performance and capacity. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes. Support: Provide support for database-related issues and collaborate with other IT teams to address application and system issues. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6 to 10 years of experience as a DB2 Database Administrator. Extensive experience with DB2 database management, installation, and configuration. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving database issues. Experience in managing DB2 clusters and understanding of clustering technologies. Knowledge of database security and performance tuning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with scripting and automation tools. Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions. Certifications in DB2 database administration or related fields.,
