Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in the domain of Revenue Management. In this role, you will be responsible for driving performance management of allocated assets through strategic actions that enhance revenue and contribution margins.
This will require taking data-backed decisions through the ability to fetch, analyze, and represent/summarize data via dashboard creation and visualization. You will also work closely with Field teams and other Central functions to optimize on-ground metrics, devise innovative initiatives to improve revenue, and enhance your analytical and technical abilities to stay ahead in a rapidly growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue and CM Delivery Performance Management
- Oversee the performance of allocated assets, focusing on revenue generation and contribution margin delivery through asset-level actions such as:
- Content optimization
- Listing management
- Pricing strategy
- Channel-specific performance levers
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and occupancy rates to inform tactical decisions.
2. Data Analysis, Reporting & Visualization
- Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Develop technical skills to enable automation for process improvement at scale.
3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with local teams to drive key on-ground metrics by establishing effective communication channels with field operations to ensure alignment on revenue strategies and performance goals.
- Conduct field visits to assess performance, gather insights, and implement improvement measures.
- Work with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and implement strategies that address revenue challenges.
- Design and deliver planned initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue through innovative problem-solving.
4. Personal and Professional Development
- Strive for continuous learning and upskilling, focusing on building analytical capabilities to make data-driven decisions.
- Develop technical skills related to automation and data visualization tools to manage and interpret data effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field from a Tier-1 or similar college background.
- 1+ years of experience in a Business/Product Analyst role (experience in fast-paced startups is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with relevant stakeholders and management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
