Senior Engineer: PACS, RIS, HIS Development

Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountable to collaborate with the customer to identify technical requirements and support customers incidents resolution on time and as per the departmental best-practice, guidelines, and quality procedures.
- Produce guidelines/checklists for self & partners to execute the work with a high-quality of service.
- Provide technical lead and governance to customers.
- Analyze and optimize clinical workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall user satisfaction.
- Support the development of user guides, training materials, and other resources to help customers seamlessly integrate products into their clinical workflows.
- Review product designs, prototypes, and technical specifications, offering feedback and suggestions to improve usability, functionality, and alignment with clinical best practices.
- Participate in product testing and validation, ensuring that products meet or exceed clinical performance and safety standards.
- Act as a liaison between clinical users and internal product development teams, facilitating open communication and ensuring that clinical perspectives are accurately represented.
- Participate in regular product development meetings, providing updates on clinical requirements, feedback, and project progress.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent combination of education/experience with 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Masters is preferred.
Desired Characteristics
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in PACS, RIS, HIS and other medical imaging information systems, along with basic Healthcare IT-related knowledge
- Experience with Healthcare Workflow solutions / Healthcare Departments workflows,
- Architect and develop frameworks to integrate PACS, RIS, HIS using standard communication protocols including DICOM, HL7
- Familiarity with Healthcare Personas and key terminologies required to address customer concerns / issues.
- Support the operations and manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production systems and services.
- Knowledge of servers, storages, and workstation experience.
- Basic networking & security experience and understanding.
- Advanced Microsoft Windows/ MacOS / Linux OS Servers & Clients installation and administration experience.
- Basic SQL/MySQL Database knowledge and administration.
- Basic virtualization Knowledge & Experience (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS).
- Familiar with utilizing available tools to analyze & troubleshoot system issues and logs.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in software development, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of developing and delivering impactful solutions.
