Job Description
We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their Murex Testing team working on a wide range of projects from regulatory engagements, to binary upgrades to providing testing services for *VA regression through to progression testing following a binary upgrade implementation
Our client has made a strategic decision to implement Murex market risk module for VaR and FRTB (ESIMA) calculations. This project will require test analysts to test the integration of a new vendor managed service market data with the Murex asset. Excelian have been engaged on this multi-year risk module implementation and will be supplying developer, risk BA and testing resources to help our client with their aim of replacing their legacy market risk system for Murex 3.1 ERM module. Joining this program you will have the benefit of working with an established client team, fully involved in the project initiation (POC of the market risk vendor platform) through to project implementation, not only for the Murex asset but also upstream systems , such as the managed market data service provider.
- You will be running the Murex Binary Upgrade project testing stream as a test manager Manage overall end to end testing of project
Be single point of contact for managing entire SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal and DR testing
Act as a single conduit between CBA IT, Business Users, Murex and Excelian Team
Prepare test strategy and test plan
Work with business and technical SME(s) for detailed test cases development and review
Execution of entire test cycle, test scenario and test cases
Ensure all unit level test cases are prepared and executed before on boarding for SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal and DR testing
Will coordinate and arrange SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal and DR testing for all downstream and upstream interface test as mention above, user input deal, inform Murex Environment support team to run EOD batch process, generate reports for user for verification
Prepare the all test schedule plan
Manage UAT, SIT, Dress Rehearsal and DR defects and ensure tracking , fixes and closure of issues and report periodically to Bank Project Manager
Work closely with Murex Environment Support Team to prepare and control all test environments (i.e. patches release version, Gold Master copy configuration, load patches release and permission access)
For each batch cycle - prepare, maintain and track Issue log and follow up with all parties (i.e. Murex, business user and project team ) until all issues get resolved
Must have
- 6+ years' experience in a test manager position
Experience of Murex-Onyx test tool is a plus
Strong knowledge of Global Markets across multiple asset classes
Design and document manual test cases to include the full test coverage required
Review and quality assure test cases
Experience in creating test strategy (Functional, Regression, NFR, Performance)
Comfortable in leading a team of Murex Test Analysts
Configure, execute and report on test phases test cycles
Working with project team and vendor to ensure timely resolution of defects
