Job Description
- Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager with International travel responsibilities at Clubside Tours and Travels. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for managing travel arrangements, overseeing customer service operations, sales activities, and effective communication with various stakeholders. International travel may be required for partnerships, events, and client interactions. Job description Liaising with agents in person, over the phone or via email to discuss their travel requirements (GIT travels) Making and confirming bookings with ground suppliers Issuing relevant documents time wise itinerary, meal charts & vouchers Modifying existing bookings to suit a change in clients circumstances. Researching destinations and keeping up to date with travel industry news. Work directly with suppliers across Europe and South East Asia including: hotels, coach operators, guides , restaurants and sightseeing attractions Roles and responsibilities: Respond to all urgent incidents reported by field staff, partners or operation officers Update tour costing and ensure trips are running to budget and profitability Report to direct manager and ensure incoming reports from field staff and partners are picked up and acted upon. Apply and manage cost control, quality levels and facilitate solutions Ensure all guides, tourleaders and customers receive up to date tour information / documents. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills Experience in Travel Management and Arrangements Sales skills and ability to drive revenue growth Proficiency in international travel logistics and regulations Attention to detail and organizational skills Previous experience in the travel or tourism industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related field Call hidden_mobile Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Yearly bonus Experience: Leisure sales: 7 years (Required) Tourism industry: 10 years (Required) Location: Park Street, Kolkata, West Bengal (Required) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 12/08/2024,
