Job Description
Position: Technical Project Manager
Location: Salt Lake, Sector V
Timing: 5:30pm IST TO 2:30AM IST
CTC: Open for discussion
Role:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for guiding development projects from the conceptual stages through the development cycle. You will ensure that the development process, architecture and standards are followed. While the focus of this role is more on technical project management, there is also an emphasis on mentoring project staff and helping with professional development.
Description:
- Responsible for the creation of business specific presentations and demonstrating online software products to prospective customers.
- Hands on experience in Dot Net development, programming, coding.
- Strong database exposure in SQL Server.
- Specialist in Microsoft Technologies.
- Analytical and Logical Thinking.
- - Communication of project related details to the Project Manager and Client
- - Taking responsibility and ownership of the project
- - To ensure project deliverables conforms to business requirements/objectives
- - Understanding the requirements, evaluate potential products / solutions and provide technical recommendations
- - Identify and manage risks to conclusion escalating as appropriate
- - Requirements Gathering, Project Co-ordination/Management, Technical Analysis skills, Excellent Communication Skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed demonstration scripts to accommodate each vertical and their unique workflows
- Effectively demonstrate the software to new and existing clients to achieve sales goals
- Follow-up on unanswered questions, and the creation of specific demonstration scripts and scenarios to be demonstrated in subsequent sessions as applicable
- Assist marketing team members with the development of PowerPoint presentations, and presentation materials
- Represent the company as part of the sales and marketing team at trade shows
- Maintain the product demonstration region and all demonstration data
- Ability to configure the software products and update specific demonstration data to meet the needs of prospects
- Provide quality assurance of new software functionality as new releases are applied to the demonstration region
- Ability to assimilate new and advanced features of software into product demonstrations
- Create sample outputs from the system (reports, etc.)
- Perform demonstrations at prospect locations with sales team and via webinars
- Act as liaison between the sales team, QA and Development teams to stay abreast of newly released and anticipated functionality
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. This position will work directly with senior leaders in the organization and will be tasked to communicate complex technical and operational findings
- Provide feedback to senior management related to product issues
- Assist in expanding the market share for products
- Update sales presentation videos for internal and external use
- Work on various special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BE/MCA/BCA/B.TECH
- International education or International work experience
- Strong understanding of modern web architecture
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (does not need to be a programmer)
- Previously worked with US Client facing roles
- Open to US travel
- Strong understanding of Database concepts
- Has worked with CRM or Help desk system
- Experience in training clients or experience with being a PM in product development or experience with delivering database driven customer Web and Mobile projects
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including strong writing, and business correspondence
- Knowledge of digital marketing and direct mail marketing is preferred
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and driven
- Expert presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office products
- Previous experience in a sales and marketing position with a software company is a plus
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and communicate within a team environment
