Job Description
Managing a team of functional testers and automation testers in Australia, Philippines, and India to test our clients web and mobile-based products and lead testing practice initiatives. You will be working with the Product teams to deliver quality products that have passed stringent testing criteria. . You will be a critical part of the clients QA & Testing team who will be critical in championing Ownership & Quality, Testing and Test Automation best practices.
You will be working for our Australia based client. Established in 2002, they strive to modernize the movement of goods and provide supply chain participants the best on the go IT solutions and services. They support organizations across the globe, connecting people, goods & technology and their mission is to deliver seamless, secure, real-time data fueled connections that power the logistics of delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of testers and developers in terms of agile testing practice and process.
- Lead and coordinate testing across all platform and data-related initiatives
- Applies knowledge of quality assurance and testing areas to define quality and test strategy.
- Works closely with product developers, project managers, and technical leadership to develop and execute test plans and test cases across all functional areas of the product.
- Create and maintain the project quality plan and project test plan.
- Execute tests and provide updates to the project team to meet quality objectives.
- Perform self-based training in the upcoming technology, quality approaches, and testing techniques.
- Manage and maintain excellent and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and always provide excellent service and support.
- Effectively communicate and set direction with clients.
- Champion in the implementation of new testing approaches or new technology.
- Preparing weekly and monthly regular reports of progress.
- Willing to take on new responsibilities as may be assigned by the management.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- More than ten (10) years of overall testing experience.
- Extensive experience in working in an agile environment with agile tools and methodologies (BDD, ATDD)
- Extensive experience in E2E test planning, estimation, and test management
- Extensive experience in Functional Testing
- Extensive experience in ETL Testing
- Extensive experience in API Testing, Technical Testing, and relevant tools
- Experience in all areas of SDLC
- Demonstrated experience in automated testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for working in highly collaborative environments.
DESIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Experience with some automation, preferably Playwright, Selenium, Postman
- Experience JavaScript and Java programming using Eclipse or IntelliJ and VS code
- ISTQB Foundation Certification
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/College Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- More than ten years of experience in software quality assurance, ideally coupled with experience as a Lead/Senior QA analyst or test.
