Manual Software Tester (Insurance/Banking Domain)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of applications within the insurance or banking domain, focusing on functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Design detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Execute manual tests and document test results, tracking defects using tools like JIRA.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately translated into testable conditions.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs.
- Produce comprehensive test reports and communicate test findings in both Japanese and English.
Required Skills:
- JLPT N3 or higher proficiency (Japanese and English).
- 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably within the insurance or banking domain.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and STLC processes.
- Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
- Ability to develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of insurance or banking industry regulations and business processes.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for applications within the insurance or banking domain.
- Focus on automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) to improve the efficiency and coverage of tests.
- Create and maintain automated test suites, focusing on regression testing and performance testing.
- Collaborate closely with the development and business teams to identify areas suitable for automation.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements during testing.
- Provide detailed test results and insights to stakeholders in both Japanese and English.
Required Skills:
- JLPT N3 or higher proficiency (Japanese and English).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing, specifically within the insurance or banking domain.
- Strong experience with automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into the DevOps environment.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and maintain detailed automated test scripts.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking or insurance industry.
- Understanding of performance testing and load testing techniques.
Common Qualifications (For Both Manual and Automation Roles):
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
