Job Description
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Java or JavaScript.
- Create and maintain automated test suites for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or custom scripts.
- Work with Selenium WebDriver to automate browser-based testing.
- Collaborate with developers to define and develop test cases, ensuring optimal coverage for each release.
- Debug and troubleshoot test failures, investigating defects, and tracking them to resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or others.
- Review and analyze test results, providing feedback to the development teams.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in automation testing and continuously improve testing processes.
- Proficient in Java or JavaScript for writing automated tests.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or other API testing tools.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or Mocha.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in complex applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
