Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java Developer(6yrs+) Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Overall Experience: Minimum 6+ Years Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and other backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure code quality through thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain application performance and reliability. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the design of complex systems. Continuously improve and optimize applications for performance and scalability. Document code, processes, and technical designs to facilitate maintenance and future development. Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher) and the Spring framework, including Spring Boot. Experience with microservices architecture and deployment. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment. Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks with a sense of urgency. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. Preferred Skills: Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud-native development. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.,
