Job Description
Operate with a culture of business and customer centricity by maintaining WatchGuard s SLA (reaching up to 99.999) for each service including incident response, problem management, capacity modeling, security management and service upgrades.Maintain an open environment of collaboration, transparency, innovation, and fun.
Work with globally distributed teams (in Engineering, Product Management & program management) to deliver on the priorities and commitments on behalf of the overall service operations organization in WatchGuard
Make use of and enhance our cloud delivery model (CICD) and work closely with R&D to make sure new features are reliable, easily deployable and support the requirements of the service in terms of scale and security.
Ensure that technical procedures (Installation, Configuration, Run Books) are documented and updated and are contributing to the maintenance of operational standards.
Automate infrastructure services and system administration tasks wherever possible by implementation of a monitoring strategy to provide rapid feedback in the event of a service disruption and to provide diagnostics.
Collaborate with all WatchGuard functions such as IT Development, Marketing, Product Management, Documentation and Training to make sure we provide services with high availability and superior performance for all our customers.

Your Experience will show:
An analytical frame of mind, a desire to take ownership, and never taking any failure as a setback
Solid understanding of Networking/VPCs/monitoring & alerting frameworks and tools
Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment & Experience managing/operating large Linux (Red Hat based), Microsoft Windows, environment & Database Technologies (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, ElasticSearch etc.)
Substantial experience in operating a 24/7 high- availability Cloud infrastructure in a highly transactional environment
Understanding of Scrum/Agile & DevOps Process with at- least a couple of years of work experience, with being at ease with at- least one of the programming language (Go, Scala, Python)
Working experience with tools/systems like Jira, GitHub, Confluence, CI/CD Pipeline using Jenkins, CloudWatch, Cloud Formation templates, Artifactory, Office Suite, Linux, Graylog, Grafana, etc. Required Skills aws, jenkin, jira, github, ci/cd, confluence
