Job Description
- Creation of Project Specific Configuration Management Plans compliant with minimum ASPICE level 2, level 3 desired
- Develop and maintain of Configuration item List, in line with organizational requirements.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of configuration items.
- Setting up the CM environment in the tool chain for the configuration items.
- Good understanding of PTC Integrity, Windchill tool. Knowledge of other CM Tool is desired
- Perform configuration items status accounting and reporting.
- Performing configuration management audits on Work products and Config Items.
- Planning and Scheduling of CM activities in the project.
- Ensure all CM activities comply with ASPICE Level 2/3, as required by project
- Review work products and approve project releases as Configuration Manager
- Branching and variant management in the configuration tool. Experience in branching strategies and variant handling ( MUST ) in large scale project.
- Document and present CM activities process flow through process flow diagrams
- Training and coaching of CM activities during development and continuously working in improving the CM process: Create training materials or guidance accordingly
- Supporting change management activities in regards of configuration items and change management workflows.
- PTC Integrity key user and support.
- VB Scripting/Python scripting and Power BI knowledge would be added advantage. Knowledge in data structure format like XML and JSON desireable
- Good understanding of Product development life cycles or SDLC (Software development life cycle).
- Strong knowledge of ASPICE level 3 requirement. Experience in supporting ASPICE assessment in area of CM with success minimum level 2, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of different Review Techniques
- Data modelling knowledge and experience in any tool (Microsoft visio, Lucidchart, etc).
- Experience in System Engineering (hardware + software) is highly desirable
- Experience in platform development and variant handling
- Experience in Process definition. Rollout would be advantageous.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in CM role. Minimum as engineer, desirable as Config Manager preferably n Automotive projects (OEMs or tier 1 supplier)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and steer the project in performing CM activities. Previous lead role or Project management, even in other areas of SDLC or product development is highly desired.
- Very good communication skills, both verbal and written in English (minimum B2 level, C1 preferred). Ability to present concept clearly, is highly desirable.
- German Language skills would added advantage.
- Good Interpersonal and intercultural skills and empathy, to handle projects independently
- Highly proactive and independent
