Job Description
Scalability experts is seeking a Cloud Migration Consultant with:
- 5+ years of experience in delivery of enterprise-level IT projects.
- Top notch communicator with development & consultant experience of handling international clients with an outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on expertise and experience on Microsoft Azure/AWS (DB, Apps and Infrastructure)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Key Skills :
- Expertise in migrating databases and applications from On-Prem to Azure/AWS cloud
- Hands on experience in migration from on-prem DB to Azure IaaS, PaaS or Managed Instance (MI)
- Hands on experience in Lift and shift of application VM's in IaaS or on container services in PaaS
- Equivalent knowledge/experience on the above workloads in AWS cloud is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience on cloud configuration, development and design
- Experience in all aspects of cloud computing (e.g. infrastructure, storage, platforms, data etc.)
- Extensive knowledge in development & networking concepts related to Load Balancer, setting up Express Route/VPN, Tunneling,
- Deep understanding of MS SQL Server, Oracle, Open source DBs, PowerShell etc.
- Good Knowledge on SQL development skills, performance tuning concepts
- Strategic thinking skills to provide product knowledge support to the sales team
- Works effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Proficient in preparing SOW/ Business proposals, preferred
- Creating and delivering demos to the client, as required
- Proven success in working with teams and executive leadership in a complex, global company environment
Responsibilities
- To attend meetings with international clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
- Design & develop technical solutions to agreed timeframes
- Conversant with Azure/AWS cloud concepts
- Migration assessment and Implementation projects
- Achieve customers business outcomes by managing issues, risks, decisions, and action items.
- Ability to take ownership for entire project (Assessment/Migration), work under pressure and meet deadlines on time
- Work collaboratively with sales, developers, testers & customer on Migrationstrategy and Solution Architecture
- Resource allocation & management along with process re-engineering
- Weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting
- Willing to travel overseas
Preferred
- Azure/AWS Certifications.
- Exposure in international markets preferably in US & Australia
- Exposure on AWS, AI, Google Analytics, Machine learning etc.
