Desired Candidate Profile
The Dev manager will be responsible for a group of modules that are part of an enterprise Data Protection software. We expect the Dev manager to be well versed with Agile Methodologies, more so with atleast 2 years of experience developing/building enterprise software products using Agile Methodologies. We do expect the manager to be hands-on with technical leadership in building enterprise software products predominantly on Linux/Windows platform using C/ C++/Java.
Minimum years of management experience - 2 years.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
Manages the hiring, staffing and maintenance of a diverse and effective workforce.
Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
Oversees the delivery of products within budget, schedule and quality guidelines.
Manages a team responsible for the design, development, testing, integration, maintenance, documentation, sustaining, and support of software.
Analyzes and investigates applications engineering tasks, and prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations.
Interacts with Product Owners to define application requirements .
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops functional processes and operational policies within the area managed.
Provides innovative solutions to complex problems, and communicates progress toward project/program goals.
Creates schedules and work plans and may be accountable for managing a budget.
Can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships.
Develops and provides challenging yet appropriate assignments, evaluates work, communicates progress toward career development and goals.
Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs.
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
