Job Description
Position : Senior Control & Automation Engineer
Experience : 8+ Years
Location : Hinjewadi, Pune
Qualification : Bachelors in Any stream of Engineering
Project Domain : Process, Pharmaceutical, F&B, Discrete, SPMs, Oil & Gas Industries
Travel : Long Term Deputation 12+ months
Location : Europe
Roles and Responsibilities :
BE Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation with good communication skills
Designing & Integration of SPMs, Pharma machines and process experience
Hands-on Experience:
1. Rockwell PLC platforms, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Micrologix, Guardlogix.
1. Kinetix servo drives 6000 and 5700 series.
2. PLC & HMI & software development- RS Logix 500, RSLogix/Studio 5000, Factory Talk View SE,
3. Factory Talk View ME, RS Networx, Driver Executive.
2. Siemens PLC : S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-400H & S7-400FH.
4. Softwares- Simatic Manager Step 7, TIA Portal, Microwin, WinCC Explorer, WinCC Flexible,
5. WinCC Advance, WinCC Professional, Process Device Manager, Simocode ES, Starter, Simotion scout.
6. Servo drives V90, G120, G120C, S120, G130 & Simotion D.
3. VFD Interface and programming.
4. Various communication topologies and its deployment on site. EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus.
5. Stratix manage switches configuration.
6. Wonderware and Ignition SCADA.
7. Cognex, Balluff and Keyence VISION system & safety PLC development experience
8. Fanuc, Kuka Robot interfacing, Installation and Commissioning. Robot Programming and teaching.
9. FAT and SAT support.
10. Onsite commissioning of PLC, HMI, SCADA and Robots.
11. Should have good knowledge to the pharmaceutical industry specific documentation such as Design
12. Qualification (DQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Process Qualification (PQ)
13. Can able to program and configure batch specific reports for equipment such as batch report, Trend report, alarm report, audit report in SCADA/HMI
14. Should able to select appropriate PLC hardware components (such as controllers, I/O modules, and communication interfaces) based on project requirements and configure them to meet specific process control needs while ensuring reliability and safety
15. Should able to conduct thorough testing, simulation, and validation of PLC programs and control systems to ensure they meet functional requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
16. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls engineers, process engineers, validation specialists, and project managers to plan, execute, and commission PLC-based control system projects within scheduled timelines.
Industry specific Experience:
1. Should have knowledge of regulatory compliance knowledge (e.g., GMP, FDA).
2. Should have good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment such as reactors, mixers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
3. Straight and spiral conveyor systems, sorting and pitch maintaining.
4. Unwinding, Rewinding, Hopper, web guide. Slitting, cutting, bonding, fluff forming.
5. Handling super absorbent material and controller calibration
6. Servo drive cascading, synchronisation, drive tune with tension and speed control
7. Lycra material unwind process control
8. Adhesive glue material equipment (Nordson Melter) integration with process logic and interface
9. Primary and secondary Packaging equipment integration experience will be added advantage
10. Known to Electrical schematic design and detailing,
11. Experience on international standard
12. Working experience of AutoCAD
13. Responsible for international projects
