F2B EQD Java Developer - Software Engineer @ BNP Paribas

Job Description

• The Team is in charge of building and maintaining a middle office application for EQD booking, position management, Trade flow and Workflow management

• The role is for a Associate Software Engineer who can design, develop and maintain high quality software that is innovative, fully performing and complies with coding standards and technical design
• The candidate needs to have experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs

Direct Responsibilities

• Perform code development and application maintenance.
• Ability to translate business requirements into system design, analyze and estimate functional specifications.
• Ability to write Unit Test cases
• Self-organized and is able to deliver in time with good quality.
• Excelled Oral and Written Communication Skills.
• Ability to work independently & multi-task.
• Experience of Software Development Life Cycle
• Should be extremely good at troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Ability to respond technically to changing business requirements.
• Focus on enhancing domain knowledge while working on the job .

Contributing Responsibilities

• Be a team player and also contribute to team building activities.
• Should be able to suggest continuous improvement ideas
• Should be able to document various features in the application.
• Participate in configuration & release management.
• L3 Business support post delivery.

Technical Competencies:

• Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Java or any other programming language
• SQL knowledge
• Logical and Analytical thinking, problem solving ability

• Must be able to work closely with business analyst and senior developers in the team
• Effective communication with all stakeholders/teams
