Profile Description:


Assistant Manager role is responsible:

  • To be the first point of contact for a new joinee in the organization, introducing him/her to the processes at IKS includes Trainees and Trainers.
  • To make the trainee comfortable and get him/her acclimated to the project's workflow and IKS environment.
  • To train the new joinees/employees on the language training and communications help them achieve business goals.
  • To govern the reportees reporting to this role.
  • To report the batch governance and project status to the Manager.

Key Responsibilities:


People

  • Ensure performance management of new hires/existing staff and monitor their progress through mentoring and coaching.
  • Ensure batch hygiene, attendance, leave management, schedule adherence.
  • Foster employee engagement and satisfaction through regular connects and ESAT initiatives.
  • Implement strategies for effective attrition management.
  • Taking accountability of the trainers tagged under this role.
  • Coach and mentor the new trainers joined in the team as per Train the Trainer program.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Operations, Quality, WFM, TA and Admin to facilitate seamless batch transitions.
  • Take responsibility for obtaining certification in the Train the Trainer program.

Process

  • Provide training on HIPAA, mandatory Compliance modules and ISO guidelines to new hires.
  • Deliver pre-process, process, and systems training for assigned new hire batches as per the session plan and SOPs.
  • Meet training yield targets, maintain quality, and ensure timely delivery for new hire batches.
  • Work with Quality and Operations to align on business updates and communicate them to training batches.
  • Identify and report early warning signs or deviations to managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing client escalations through Continual Learning Sessions and Process Knowledge Tests (PKTs).
  • Working on small Training improvement initiatives/projects to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Manager/Associate Director Training to create training modules and curriculums as per the business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Excellence team to streamline batch progression.
  • Keep track and maintenance of relevant documents and trackers to uphold batch hygiene.

Content

  • Responsible for supporting the Content creation Team in content creation and maintenance of language modules as per business requirements.

Planning

  • Support the hiring process by taking interviews, participating in calibrations and hiring assessment creation and maintenance.

Technology

  • To understand working of Scribble, productivity tools, client-specific EHR navigation,Tutor and other tech-led initiatives based on business needs.

Financial

  • Responsible for ensuring that every batch is delivered on time as per defined training timelines

As an AM, this resource is directly responsible and accountable for driving better outcomes with the activities as above


Qualifications:

Graduates in in any of the below disciplines:

Medical Graduates--MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BDS

Paramedical graduates--BPT, B.Pharmacy, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Lab/Radiology or any other technician

Life sciences graduates--B.Sc (Biotechnology, chemistry, zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Genetics, etc)

Mandatory active coding certification such as CPC, COC, CCS-P


Role Prerequisites:

  • A minimum experience of working for at least 2 years in Medical Coding- E/M specialty.
  • An experience of training, coaching and mentoring employees would be preferred.
  • Applicants should be flexible and open to working in a rotational shift environment as well as traveling across locations (as per business requirements).

Functional Competencies

  • Coding certificate is mandatory- CPC or CCS
  • Adequate medical knowledge is a must.
  • An advanced level of competency in language is a must.
  • Train the Trainer certification would be preferred
  • Facilitation Skills would be must
  • Adequate Digital Literacy is a must
