Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic AppDev team. You will play a crucial role in supporting pivotal applications hosted on AWS, driving innovation, and ensuring smooth product development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Implement & Maintain: Scalable, available, and high-performing AWS-based solutions.
- Cloud Management: Optimize cloud environments using AWS CDK.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for software integration and deployment.
- Containerization: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for application modularity and portability.
- Security & Scalability: Implement best practices for secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams.
- Innovation: Research and integrate new technologies for business enhancement.
Mandatory Skills:
- Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC Architecture, ECS, Elastic Load Balancing, RDS Aurora Postgres, S3, SNS, SQS, AppStream, CloudFront).
- CI/CD Knowledge: Proficiency in GitHub Actions and building CDK code pipelines.
- Scripting Languages: Knowledge of TypeScript, Python 3.8, Bash, Java, Ansible.
- Containerization: Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Networking & Security: Deep understanding of Networking, Firewalls, and security services like AWS Config, Security Hub, Advisor, X-Ray.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Good to Have:
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, and/or DevOps certifications.
- Experience in Linux/Unix/Windows administration.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
