Job Description
- As an Executive - Procurement (SCK), your primary responsibility will be to oversee the procurement process and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services needed by the organization
- You will play a vital role in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and maintaining an efficient supply chain
Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and requirements
- Develop procurement plans and strategies to meet the organization's objectives
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products
- Vendor Management:Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable terms for the organization
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any issues or disputes that may arise
- Purchase Order Processing:Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints
- Coordinate with various departments to obtain necessary approvals for purchase orders
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Inventory Management:Collaborate with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- Monitor inventory levels, track usage patterns, and anticipate future demand
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory
- Compliance and Documentation:Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor information
- Assist in conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with procurement processes
