Leadership and Strategy:Develop and execute the IT department's strategic plan aligned with the organization's overall objectives
Provide vision and direction for the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Identify emerging technologies and trends that could enhance the organization's IT infrastructure and services
Team Management:Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, ensuring their professional growth and development
Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring efficient resource allocation
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing
IT Service Management:Oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction
Develop and implement IT service management frameworks, processes, and procedures to improve service quality and efficiency
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT services
IT Infrastructure and Operations:Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and security
Ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of IT infrastructure components
Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data security and compliance
Vendor Management:Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to procure IT products and services
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality
Stay up to date with industry best practices and market trends related to IT products and services
Budgeting and Resource Planning:Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for IT expenditure
Monitor and control IT expenses to stay within budgetary constraints
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
A Master's degree is preferred
Proven experience (X years) in IT management or a similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e g, ITIL) and best practices
In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Relevant certifications (e g, PMP, ITIL) are a plus
