Senior Engineer - Cpd(stl) - Gurgaon - Sandhar @ Sandhar Technologies

Job Description

• Design, develop, and test software components and systems for Communication and Packet Data (CPD) in the Service and Transport Layer (STL) domain
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and testers, to gather requirements and develop technical specifications
• Implement and maintain software solutions that meet quality, performance, and scalability requirements
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Develop and maintain software documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects and performance issues, and provide timely resolutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to ensure timely delivery of software projects
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in the STL domain
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth
• Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Several years of experience in software development, with a focus on the Communication and Packet Data domain in the Service and Transport Layer
• Strong knowledge of protocols and technologies related to STL, such as SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python
• Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
• Understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and switching concepts
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software
