Job Description
- The Sub Staff - Production (SIJ) is responsible for supporting the production team in various tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the production line
- They assist in the manufacturing process, maintain equipment, and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production process: Support the production team in executing daily production activities, such as operating machinery, assembling components, or packaging finished products
- Equipment maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- This may involve cleaning, lubricating, or making minor adjustments to machinery
- Quality control: Collaborate with the quality control team to perform inspections and checks during the production process
- Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in products or equipment
- Material handling: Assist in the movement and transportation of raw materials, finished goods, or supplies within the production area
- This includes loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining proper stock levels
- Workplace safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment
- Identify potential hazards or risks and report them to the appropriate personnel
- Follow safety procedures during the operation of machinery and handling of materials
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including the quantity of materials used, production output, and any issues or incidents that occur during the shift
- Team collaboration: Collaborate with the production team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Assist in training new employees on production processes and procedures as needed
- Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control principles
- Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with attention to detail
