Job Description

Essential Qualification: Ph.D
Relevant Experience: 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years total (not counting Ph.D. enrolment period) out of which 07 years are to be after Ph.D.; At least three years to be at Associate Professor level in an institution of repute.
Other Essential requirements: Two Ph.D. degrees guided in carrier as sole or principal supervisor. The following during the past 04 years; (i) 03 papers is SCI journals; (ii) One high value sponsored or consultancy projects; (iii) Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self-financed course offered as coordinator and main teacher; (iv) Two experiments or computational design projects with added to teaching laboratories where appropriate.
Additional Desirable Requirements : One or more Patents, Supervised more than three students for Ph.D. Preparing ELearning material. Atleast one self-financed short term course offered every year. Strong liason with industry. Offering significant support to Institute management; High value sponsored or consultancy projects.
Pay Level as per 7th CPC : (7 th CPC Pay level - 14A, Rs. 159100 - 220200)
Age Limit -: Age limit in case of Assistant Professor Grade I and Grade II shall be a maximum of 40 Years; 45 Years in case of Associate professor; and 55 years in case of Professor. However, for exceptional candidates age may be relaxed at the discretion of the screening committee.

v. Applications which are not in prescribed format and without relevant supporting enclosures shall be summarily rejected. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
vi. Last date of submission of hard copy of application is April 5, 2019 (5:00 PM). Applications received after the due date will not be considered in this round and IIIT Pune will not be responsible for any postal delay.
