Job Description

Essential Qualification: Ph.D
Relevant Experience: 06 years after Ph.D. or 09 Years total (not counting Ph.D. Enrolment period) out of which 03 years should be after Ph.D. Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs.8000 or its equivalent in 7th CPC at a reputed university, R&D Lab or relevant industry.
Other Essential requirements: 04 Papers in SCI journals after PhD.; one guided as sole or principal supervisor plus one continuing. Two projects ongoing or one ongoing plus one completed. Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate. Academic outreach activity equivalent to self financed short term course.
Additional Desirable Requirements: one or more patents; supervising two or more students for Ph.D.; strong liaison with industry; Offering courses through application of ICT
Pay Level as per 7th CPC : (7 th CPC Pay level - 13A2, Rs. 139600 - 211300)
Age Limit -: Age limit in case of Assistant Professor Grade I and Grade II shall be a maximum of 40 Years; 45 Years in case of Associate professor; and 55 years in case of Professor. However, for exceptional candidates age may be relaxed at the discretion of the screening committee.

v. Applications which are not in prescribed format and without relevant supporting enclosures shall be summarily rejected. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
vi. Last date of submission of hard copy of application is April 5, 2019 (5:00 PM). Applications received after the due date will not be considered in this round and IIIT Pune will not be responsible for any postal delay.
