Job Description
Advertisement No:IIITP/R/ F/2019/01Issue Date: 28/02/2019
Essential Qualification: Ph.D
Relevant Experience: 03 years after Ph.D. or 06 years total (not counting Ph.D. enrolment period) after obtaining M.Tech. degree.
Other Essential requirements: Two papers in SCI journals outside Ph.D. work. One ongoing sponsored project for candidates from academia. Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate.
Additional Desirable Requirements: One Ph.D. supervision ongoing; 01 patent; Experience in industry or R&D lab of repute; M.Tech, MSc or B Tech project supervision on live industrial problems.
Pay Level as per 7th CPC : (7th CPC Pay level - 12, Rs. 101500 - 167400)
Age Limit -: Age limit in case of Assistant Professor Grade I and Grade II shall be a maximum of 40 Years; 45 Years in case of Associate professor; and 55 years in case of Professor. However, for exceptional candidates age may be relaxed at the discretion of the screening committee.

The eligible and interested candidates are required to submit the hardcopy of completely filled application form along with latest passport size photograph, self-attested copies of the certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste certificate, check list etc. in a spiral bound file along with the application fee, by speed/registered post to the to the following address:

v. Applications which are not in prescribed format and without relevant supporting enclosures shall be summarily rejected. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
vi. Last date of submission of hard copy of application is April 5, 2019 (5:00 PM). Applications received after the due date will not be considered in this round and IIIT Pune will not be responsible for any postal delay.
