Job Description/Requirements
As a Technical Specialist- PL SQL, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead the technical team in the implementation of Medical Management Hub
- Prioritize, assign, and execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle
- Create the database design, and implement stored procedures
- Perform code reviews to ensure optimum code quality
- Query data from Jiva system
- Write BI reports with knowledge in WebI to help develop the queries for the universe and design reports using WebI
- Develop business objects reports and dashboard solutions using BO WebI
- Utilize excellent business analysis skills, and interact with business staff to derive and interpret business needs
- Understand and implement solution for business intelligence reporting
- Responsible for documenting modifications of pre-existing development, new development for peer reference and knowledge transfer
- Responsible for developing SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, scheduling, and performance tuning of queries
- Work independently and participate in the reviews of the work done by the peers
- Take feedback, and work on the shortcomings and improve it
- Demonstrate organizational ability in prioritizing assignments, meeting deadlines, and handling simultaneous projects
Education
Engineering or B.E/ BTech / MTech
Technical Certification in multiple technologies is desirable
Mandate Skills
- Should have proficiency in manipulating and transforming data using tools such as PLSQL.
- Should have skills in data cleaning, filtering, aggregating, and merging data from multiple sources
- Must be able to understand business rules and design the transformation tables
- Must have understanding and experience of ETL processes and tools including extracting data from various sources, transforming it into the desired format, and loading it into a data warehouse or database
- Should have basic or intermediate understanding of clinical operations data for a health plan
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts along with designing and implementing data models to support data transformation processes including understanding database schemas, data normalization, and denormalization techniques
- Must have experience in integrating data from multiple systems or sources, including databases, APIs, flat files, or streaming data sources, and also understanding data integration patterns, data formats, and data validation techniques
- Strong knowledge of data quality assessment and cleansing techniques to identify and rectify data inconsistencies, errors, and missing values
- Must have knowledge of data profiling and data quality tools
- Basic understanding of data visualization principles and experience in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and more, to present transformed data in meaningful visual formats such as Excel reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data transformation requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data transformation processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and document data transformation processes
- Must have experience in development of application on Oracles stored procedures, PL/SQL, Views
- Should have proficiency in requirement gathering/analysis and client interaction
- Strong understanding of PL/SQL (query, stored procedures, and more) to help with the hub build and design
- Should have knowledge of healthcare domain, especially Member data that will help in performing the job better
- Must have strong communication skills and a proficiency of detailed documentation
- Must be able to function with minimal supervision/direction and regularly work within deadlines
