Job Description

We are hiring urgently for the below job role for a leading chain Chocolate Boutique & Cafe's in KSA.


Job Role - Demi Chef De Partie (Bakery/Pastry)


Job Location - KSA


Roles & Responsibilities -

  • Assist the Chef De Partie in managing the pastry section operations and activities including baking, preparation, and presentation of the menu items successfully.
  • Maintain high standards of production and quality in the pastry section to ensure retaining and satisfying the guests, meeting brand requirements, and the positioning in the market.
  • Assist in maintenance, hygiene, health & safety plan including the cleanliness of the equipment and the utensils to ensure best in class standards are applied in the assigned section.
  • Ensure compliance with the HACCP regulations and standards including cleanliness of own section and best before dates of the ingredients and mise en place.
  • Prepares and cooks food in the bakery section according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
  • Assists in training team members and participates in product development and smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Support the Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work.
  • Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie.
  • Control food stock and food cost in his section
  • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and colleagues health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements -

  • Candidate must have relevant experience with leading Cafe's , fine dine restaurants, 5 star hotels.
  • Must have Diploma / Degree from hospitality or culinary school or academy.
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Previous exp. with GCC countries in similar role will be an added advantage.
  • Age must be minimum 25 to 32 years.
