Job Description
Basic Requirements and Qualifications
- Cabin Crew Instructors are required to have at least high school education but a degree is preferred and a minimum of 2 years working as Cabin Crew.
- It is useful to have either experience or training in adult education or a train the trainer qualification.
- Previous experience of customer services training or first aid training is useful as is evidence of designing and developing E-learning and training materials.
- It is important to have computer skills such as Microsoft Office and also strong presentation and writing skills.
Good qualities that a Cabin Crew Instructor should have
- Ensures well-trained, competent, qualified and efficient Cabin Crew at all times.
- Conducts Induction of new Trainees.
- Conducts In-flight Service Training for Cabin Crew (Initial, Recurrent and Enhanced/ upgrade programs.)
- Conducts Announcement Training for Cabin Crew and rate crew post evaluation.
- Conducts Announcement training
- Responsible for evaluation of examinations and compiling the results.
- Maintains and updates training records in a meticulous and systematic manner.
- Monitors the progress of trainees/ individual cabin crew and suggest/conduct additional training as and when required.
- Coaches and mentors new trainees/ Cabin Crew and provide feedback.
- Creates case studies from actual passenger complaints and take necessary steps to
- Maintains student performance reports.
- Ensures that training facility including all training aids (audio & visual) is well-maintained and notice boards are updated at all times.
- Provides inputs for amendments and revisions to the service manual and update PowerPoint presentations on a regular basis.
- Develops training material on an ongoing basis
- Prepares question bank for service-based examinations and proficiency
- Ensures that all manuals handouts, circulars, and other documentation are copied well in advance and distributed to all trainees and maintain records of the same
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

- To maintain a safe and secure environment
- Administration as appropriate
- Update training materials when needed
- Prepare classroom and mock cabin for training sessions
- Facilitate soft skills training
- Coach and motivate ab-initio and recurrent Cabin Crew
