- Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform and the product teams.
Scope:
- Design a database and ensure its stability, reliability, and performance. Optimize in-application SQL statements as necessary and establish best practices.
- Resolve database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.

Application Architecture : Scalable, Resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture

Frameworks/Others : Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite
Database : Oracle, MS SQL Server
What you ll do:
- Design, code, debug, and performs development activities in accordance with designated standards and procedures .
- Drive architecture and designs to become simpler, more robust, and more efficient. Deliver these promises through self-healing, reliable services that require minimum manual intervention.
- Provide early visibility and mitigation of technical challenges throughout the journey.
- Provide support for products from conception to product delivery including problem-solving, defect maintenance, and support to customer services
What we are looking for:
- 10-13 years of experience in SqlServer and SqlServer Reporting Services
- Strong proficiency with database design, including normalization, stored procedures, triggers, primary and foreign keys, and optimizing stored procedures, indexes, tables, views, and trigger code for production applications
- Good knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services.
- Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB
- Strong experience writing Complex Queries, Subqueries, Co-related Sub query, CTE, Views, Functions, and Stored Procedures using T-SQL.
- Good knowledge of performance optimization of SQL procedures
- Skilled at optimizing significant, complicated SQL statements and stored procedures
- Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
- Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
- Strong technical expertise in Troubleshooting and Performance tuning.
- Exceptional ability to quickly master new concepts and applications
