Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Project Manager to oversee projects at IntouchNXT the innovation arm of IntouchCX. As a Data Science Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of data science initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Your expertise in both project management and data science will be essential in coordinating cross-functional teams and leveraging data-driven insights to drive strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage data science projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and budget.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, data scientists, engineers, and analysts, to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
3. Develop and maintain project plans, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and task dependencies, using project management tools and methodologies.
4. Coordinate and allocate resources, both internal and external, to support project activities and ensure efficient project execution.
5. Manage project risks and issues, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and deviations from project objectives.
6. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
7. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance data quality, and optimize project outcomes.
9. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Stay abreast of advancements in data science methodologies, tools, and industry best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in project delivery.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
2. A Master's degree or relevant certifications such as Sixsigma are preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the data science or analytics field, with a strong understanding of data science concepts and methodologies.
4. Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, and experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
5. Solid understanding of data science techniques, including machine learning, predictive modeling, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards project success.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
9. Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and balancing competing priorities.
10. Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance considerations in data science projects.
11. Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
