Job Description
Purpose of the position: To participate in the development of IT support and to provide on-going support as an expert in the area of Security & Authorizations for various SAP Applications in Linde for all RBUs and handle project related activities (in the area of security) through the defined and agreed processes within SLA with end-to-end ownership. To suggest, modify and adapt standard process design based on the interpretation of the existing processes or procedures leading towards more efficient IT solutions through coordination, follow-up and provide supervision for progress and results. Support Implementation of a Global Identity and Authorization Management concepts. Design and configure GRC components. Integrate access control (Segregation of Duties). Define, roll out and support SAP authorization concepts. Support IT Security projects and License Measurement activities. Identify areas where opportunities or risk exist, facilitate communication between groups and suggest alternatives and mutually agreeable solutions. Plan and deliver Security presentations. Work in a Global team. Principal responsibilities: Provide security solutions in the area of SAP to the affected users/requestors as per requirement.Participates/working as a team member in global projects and contribute with expert knowledge in the area of security, in order to secure that projects can be delivered as expected.
Designs, documents (along with maintaining the document in a central repository) the security roles as per the defined nomenclature.
To identify and deliver support processes for these production services and to provide centre of excellence technical support for all technologies mission critical to The LINDE Group as part of a 'service comes first' environment
To work effectively with IT teams across LINDE in order to gain and share knowledge of systems and together provide support across all business critical services
Required to handle technical complex situation and suggests permanent fixes.
Contributes in the development of standards, guidelines and policies that enable the achievement of highest quality, within own subject area.
Creates techniques in the area of security in order to provide integration between cross teams.
Maintaining process documentation and suggesting for process improvement.
Required Candidate profile
Required critical behaviours :Ability to plan own workload and work in teams effectively and able to multi-task across multiple assignments.
Self motivated, with the ability to learn and work in a meticulous and organized manner
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required to effectively coordinate with other IS functions and with peers across locations working across different time zones
Required to communicate with stake-holders, using reasoning, to achieve successful outcome for the assigned responsibility, specifically in area of application security.
Confirmed analytical skills, together with the ability to think "outside the box" in the technical area. The solution to the problem is based mainly upon previous experience but also on the analysis of factual and qualitative information.
Should be able to determine the impacts on business by quality of own work and through the ability to deliver high quality and successful solutions within own area of expertise.
Ability to integrate with other IS functions and with peers across locations working across different time zones.
Required key skills (functional/technical):
Technical know-how & very strong hands-on experience applicable to in the area of SAP Security
In-depth knowledge and experience within the area of SAP security.
Strong technical and non-technical communication skills both written and spoken.
Solution oriented and looking for continual improvement.
Awareness of the IS strategy and how different teams integrate and interact.
Knowledge of trends and developments in the information technology area
Required qualifications/experience (internal & external candidates):
Qualification:
A graduate (Technology/Science) from a reputed university
Formal Training and certification in the area of SAP security (certification is preferred but not mandatory). ITIL certification Preferred.
Experience:
Should have overall 4-7 years of relevant SAP Security experience working with reputed companies. Must have technical hands on experience.
Thorough technical Knowledge in the area of SAP security, authorization concept implementation
Should have the knowledge in the area of Security related process and compliance
Should have in-depth knowledge in the area of SAP ERP Security with minimum one end to end implementation or complete technical upgrade experience.
Should have experience in designing SAP Authorization concept. Must have a good understanding on GRC risks, Segregation of duties concept & SOX Compliance. Technical Implementation experience in GRC 10.1 will be an added advantage.
Should have in-depth knowledge in one of the following key areas (SAP Cloud Security or SAP Portal User Management & Security Concepts).
Should have hands on working experience working on SAP HR Authorizations.
Experience in working in offshore teams in relevant technology area
