Required Skills:
- To read & interpret engineering drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications
- Create assembly build plans & Bill of materials for Aircraft assemblies.
- Create Installation plans and Author work instructions.
- Develop 3D illustrations of assembly plans & processes
- Implementation & creation of Standard works in Assembly process planning.
- Ensure the prevailing Installation plans are validated and meet the defined standards.
- Continuously review the existing assembly process and drive process improvements
- Knowledge on assembly jigs & Fixtures used for building the assemblies
- Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
- Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
- Should have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Execute DFM and producibility studies for new product introductions.
- Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems.
- Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of work experience as a Process planner in aerospace industry.
- To be in manufacturing engineering role, relevant experience with Aircraft platforms is desirable.
- Aware of Planning tools, manufacturing execution systems like SAP-PP, CAPP/MES, Enovia.
- Working knowledge with CATIA/NX Modelling softwares
