Job Description
Role & responsibilities
This position specializes in reporting of financial and operational performance. The role will be a key player in the global finance team. Theyll work across multiple regions, teams, and timezones.
The role will need a keen eye and passion for reporting, analytics, standardization, and modeling. Understanding the industry and our business processes is essential for the role.
The right candidate will need strong critical thinking skills to successfully operate in an entrepreneurial environment. As our teams success continues to grow, new demands are frequently placed on us, requiring adaptability. Strong logical reasoning skills are necessary for navigating models and advanced Excel functions and techniques.
This position would include some or all of the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage data analytics on operational metrics
- Building and maintaining analytical models on key operating measures.
- Collaborate with NAM, Europe, & APAC colleagues in finance, sales, sales operations, delivery operations, & backoffice on a weekly basis
- Responsible for publishing monthly financial results & preparing monthly/quarterly business review presentations
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in compliance with group reporting requirements
- Design, build, & maintain customer level reporting
- Identify and resolve upstream data issues for operational metrics, financial performance, headcount reporting, CSR, & customer level reporting
- Design, build, & maintain financial reporting by utilizing tools such as Excel, Tableau, SalesForce, and Adaptive Insights
- Streamline foreign currency reporting across financial periods and regions
- Serve as the functional SME to support multiple divisions in relation to Adaptive Insights & Tableau
- Ownership of sales pipeline reporting (finance only) & support for finance team
- Financial & strategic initiative support for finance leaders
- Reviewing existing reporting processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Various ad-hoc financial analytics and projects.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Finance or related fields
- Minimum of 5 plus years of relevant experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Knowledge of Randstad operations and systems is a plus
Key Competencies:
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills, ability to innovatively communicate complex information
- Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Excel (advanced excel skills), financial reporting concepts, Adaptive Insights, SalesForce, Hyperion Essbase/SmartView, & Tableau
- Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, providing meaningful insights that are impactful
- Ability to influence management
- Ability to make improvements to keep pace with a fast moving environment
- Advanced excel or financial modeling skills
- Prior experience in financial analysis, corporate FP&A experience is preferred
- Comfortable in time sensitive, fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, focus on improving processes to eliminate waste
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and escalate trends in
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience making decisions in a high volume fast paced environment.

- Limited decision making authority
- Expectation to suggest improvements and optimize repetitive tasks
Shift: Shift Timings- Flexible & Variable as role supports multiple regions and may need to adjust schedule for ad hoc meetings and collaborative sessions. General working hours are flexible based on individuals local timezone.
