Job Description

Job Responsiblities:
Prepare, Manage, and Own backup and recovery objectives for entire Oracle E-Business suite and other database stack Install, configure, patch, and, clone RAC and non-RAC Oracle databases Maintains communication with Workstream Lead(s) and Workstream Business Process Champion and ERP Program Managers Manages day-to-day team activities Assists in development of team work plans Monitors/updates team work plans Work with IT Manager to establish database security structures, Sox compliance Experience with Oracle database High availability (RAC/ASM/Dataguard) Expert level proficiency with performance tuning of application, operating systems, and storage Demonstrates ability to solve moderately complex technical problems independently Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a small team setting Experience with Linux operating systems and virtualization Established and performed refresh/cloning Oracle Application Test and Development environments from Production environment. Setup system and user profiles for Oracle Applications, administer concurrent managers and reports. Developed suite of utilities for maintenance of multiple Oracle Applications environments: environment configuration, initialize environment, automated databases, Webserver, Form servers and concurrent managers startup/shutdown process. Golden Gate will be additional advantage. Creating Shell Scripts and setup in contactable for getting automated reports.
