Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We an opportunity for Data scientist with minimum 6 to 12 years experience.
Please find the JD below:
Data Scientists :
a. Demonstrable experience in Research, design and prototyping robust and scalable models based on machine learning (regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis etc.), data mining, and statistical modeling to answer key business problems
b. Ability to quickly build tools and support structures needed to analyze data, perform elements of data cleaning, feature selection and feature engineering and organize experiments in conjunction with best practices
c. Experience working with or for Financial Institution in area like Fraud detection / Risk modelling / UW modelling etc. is highly desired
d. NLP & Text Mining Experience is a big plus.
e. Strong understanding of Statistics.
f. Strong programming background experience in Scala / Python for spark and libraries like Pandas, Sklearn, NLTK and etc.
g. Experience in scalable data management tools - Relational and NoSQL databases
h. Knowledge of Big Data architectures a strong plus; Have basic knowledge in big data (storage and processing) tools like Hadoop, Hive, Spark and etc.
i. Knowledge of Pythons data analysis and machine learning libraries a strong plus; Have experience/knowledge in SparkML and PySpark
