Staff Engineer - Software Test

About the Role - You will:

• Lead, Develop and execute software test plans for object store solution.
• Analyze and write test standards and procedures
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging of software
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Look for improvements and efficiencies in processes and everyday tasks.
• Work as a technical lead, mentor and guide junior engineers

About You

• Understanding of the product test processes and practices in agile development /test environment

• Knowledge of scripting languages like python and software development life - cycle

• Good understanding of functional groups related to engineering like documentation and release engineering

• Quick learner in adopting new technology

• Understanding of development build and release processes

Your Experience Includes:

• Software defined storage test processes

• Python programming and Automaton test development

• Developing and executing tests as per the product requirement

• Cloud storage, AWS and Azure domain

• Networking principles such as VLANs, IPv6 and router configuration

• Agile/SCRUM methodologies

• RAID devices, SAS protocol and Object Store solutions

• Automation and test management tools

• Engineering design reviews and identification of test coverage
