HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Ensure policies are communicated effectively to staff and followed consistently throughout the hospital.
Staffing and Recruitment: Oversee the hospital's recruitment and selection process, working closely with department heads to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and ensure a smooth recruitment process. Develop strategies to attract and retain qualified healthcare professionals.
Employee Relations: Promote positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR matters. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including handling disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer the hospital's compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits packages. Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.
Performance Management: Oversee the hospital's performance management system, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters and support employee growth and career development.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Collaborate with department heads to ensure staff receive necessary training to perform their duties effectively.
Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and training documentation.
HR Analytics and Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, assess HR metrics, and provide insights to senior management. Prepare reports on HR-related matters, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and workforce demographics.
Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Implement employee recognition programs, employee surveys, and other activities to promote a positive work
