Designation: Technical Engineer

Job Description:

1.     Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

        Design and deploy network infrastructure to meet business needs.

        Assess scalability and plan for future growth.

        Configure and optimize network protocols.

2.     Firewall Configuration:

        Configure and maintain firewall systems for network security.

        Implement access control policies and rules to prevent unauthorized access.

        Monitor firewall logs, analyze network traffic, and mitigate security risks.

3.     Router Configuration:

        Configure and maintain routers for network connectivity.

        Implement security features like access control lists (ACLs) and firewall rules.

        Optimize routing protocols for efficient network traffic management.

4.     Network Security and Compliance:

        Implement and maintain network security measures.

        Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.

        Ensure compliance with industry regulations.

5.     Network Monitoring and Performance Optimization:

        Monitor and resolve network issues.

        Analyze network traffic and optimize performance.

        Implement Quality of Service (QoS) mechanisms.

6.     Network Troubleshooting and Technical Support:

        Provide technical support for network-related problems.

        Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

        Collaborate with teams to resolve complex network problems.

7.     Network Documentation and Reporting:

        Maintain network documentation and procedures.

        Generate reports on network performance and incidents.

        Contribute to the development of policies and best practices.

8.     SLA Management:

        Establish, monitor, and uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for network performance.

        Address SLA breaches promptly and implement corrective actions.

        Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize SLAs based on business needs and advancements.

9.     Collaboration and Project Management:

        Collaborate on network projects and upgrades.

        Coordinate with vendors and contractors.

        Participate in change management processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

        BTech / BE

        Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

        Experience in network design, implementation, and optimization.

        Proficiency in network security principles.

        Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

        Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

        Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP preferred.
