Job Description

The Generative AI Innovation Center team at AWS provides opportunities to innovate in a fast-paced organization that contributes to game-changing projects and technologies leveraging cutting-edge generative AI algorithms. We re looking for Data Science Managers capable of using generative AI and other ML techniques to design, evangelize, and implement state-of-the-art solutions for never-before-solved problems.The science manager leads the team of data scientists and collaborates with technology and business teams to build solutions that surprise and delight our customers. They also own the team's overall deliverables, develop and support our scientists.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and hire top performing ML experts
- Own and validate KPIs to measure model quality and impact at scale
- Prioritize workstreams to maximize impact
- Coordinate and collaborate with leaders of our internal and external customers and partners
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND | Mumbai, IND, - 6+ years of building quantitative solutions as a scientist or science manager experience
- 3+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
- 5+ years of applying statistical models for large-scale application and building automated analytical systems experience
- Knowledge of Python or R or other scripting language - Experience in a least one area of Machine Learning (NLP, Regression, Classification, Clustering, or Anomaly Detection)
- Experience with fairness in machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect and remove bias in ML/AI systems
