Job Description
Required Skill set
1 to 5+ years My SQL / MS SQL Server Administration experience required,
Experience with backups, restores, migration and recovery models.
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory.
Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments,
from development to mission-critical production systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
Knowledge of MySQL/ MsSQL features, such as its event scheduler
Strong proficiency in MySQL / MsSQL database management.
Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases.
