Artist / QC - Packaging Prepress - Trident @ Sonoco Graphics India

This role will be responsible for supporting the production of customer packaging artworks.

Your New Role
As an Artworker you will be responsible for living and breathing the above core values in every aspect of your working day. You will support the Senior Artworkers within your designated team with the creation of customer packaging artworks, following standard working practices.

Responsibilities and Duties
What You Will Do
* Perform pre-flight checks on received design files.
* Create technical drawings
* Create Artworks amends and Artworks as per customer requirements, in accordance with brand rules and print requirements
* When necessary apply reprographics to artworks in accordance to customer account requirements
* Create data for release to printers
* Support the development of Apprentice & Junior Artworkers.

What You Will Need to Succeed
* Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
* Experience manipulating copy heavy artworks
* Ideally you will have previous experience creating packaging artworks
* The ability to follow instructions and standard working practices
* A high level of attention to detail - you will need to achieve high quality standards
* The ability to work to tight deadlines
* A positive, flexible and approachable attitude
* The ability to work in a team
* Good communication skills, you will raise problems, participate in meetings and make recommendations for improvements.
* Be a quick learner
* The desire to upskill & advance
