Develop and nurture vendor relationships in the US, Canada, Australia and other focus regions
Identify new regions of interest, scope out and onboard new vendors in the target regions
Develop new products such as Air and Ocean consoles in high traffic regions or based on Sales requirements
Periodic meetings with vendors to maintain their service levels and ranking them basis their performance
Liaise internally and externally and build strong professional working relationships with stakeholders and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction
Ensure timely response to customers (Internal/External) requirements
Conduct market research, competitor and customer analysis to identify sales opportunities
Desired candidate profile:
5+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding
Good connections within the industry with forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and airlines
Should have knowledge of Overseas Networks and relation with Co Loaders and Freight Forwarders, NVOCCs, Airlines and Ocean carriers
Should have prior experience in partner / vendor management
