We Datamatics Global Services looking for Linux Admin for Pune location
Mandates-
Notice period: Immediate/ 15 Days (We need candidates who are immediate joiners or max with NP of 15 days. Ensure that only such profiles are sent for shortlisting. If NP is greater that profile will not be entertained.)
Description/Comment:
Responsibilities
Management of IT infrastructure, setup monitoring and reporting tools
Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the team
Linux ( 24/7 support)
1- Unix user management ( login challenges, user profile modification etc)
2- Logical volume management
1- Physical volume/volume group/logical volume concepts
2- File system management
3- Mirroring/stripping concepts
4- Familiar with multipath/ fstab etc
3- Good hands on -- in built OS tools in order to troubleshoot issues and performance improvement at OS side.

4- AWK
5- Ethtool
4- Good understanding in RH satellite, YUM and OS patching concepts
5- A very good reach in cluster concepts (ex- RH cluster, PCS cluster, MCSG and veritas cluster)
1- Package creation/modification/deletion
2- FO/FB concepts etc
6- Basic storage/HP data protector knowledge
7- Alert management
8- Vendor management skills
9- Good prior knowledge in handling critical Production environment
VMware ( 24/7 support)
1- Understanding on vSphere/vCenter
2- VM creation/cloning/ deployment of template
3- Vmotion & migration ( inter cluster or intra cluster )
4- Setting up rules at VM level
5- ESXi upgrade (FW upgrade, patching)
6- Performance monitoring at vCenter level
7- Alert set up at vCenter level & managing critical alerts
8- Vendor management
9- Good prior knowledge in handling critical Production Virtual environment
