Howden India is currently hiring for an Commercial/ Property Claims Specialist at our Delhi Location.

Job Objectives/Purpose:

To handle Property Claims at the Corporate level of Howden India and to enable it achieve growth and financial success as measured by growth in

Customer retention ratios
Effective claims handling process

In this role the individual will be required to have a exposure / basic knowledge of

Property & Marine Products
Managing Claims
Excellent Communication / Presentation skills,
Business Strategy / Having market intelligence and having insight in the operation of account

At the micro level the role involves:

Receive claim notification from client
Obtain relevant policy document
Scrutinise the policy document
Notify insurance company
Appoint surveyor and correspond with surveyor
Communicate with various parties to progress the claim with scrutinizing of documents received from client, submission to surveyor/ insurance co.
Meetings with Clients Insurers & TPAs
Monitoring and addressing escalations on priority.
Maintaining effective TAT's for settlement of the claims
Resolve issues pertaining to non- settlement of the claims
Maintaining updated claims register

Education & Experience

University degree with an appropriate insurance qualification preferred

Experience (preferably over 2 to 5 years) in Insurance/ Brokers /Surveyors

Broking / Commercial Claims Management experience manadatory
