Position Summary :
The position involves Perl Development integrated with C++ .
Designs, codes, tests and delivers new/modified functionality on Linux platforms under general supervision. Frequently partners with senior technical leaders, mentors and collaborates with junior level peers. Responsible for upholding F5 s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. Requires little or no direct management to complete most of engineering tasks.

Primary Responsibilities :
Implement (code and test) to a defined set of requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members in software development and testing, with hands on.
Work across the organization to identify product/system requirements
Create and maintain software and test documentation, in collaboration with Architects, Product Managers and other functions and peers across the organization.
Work closely and maintain communication with teams in San Jose, Seattle and Tel Aviv.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members in software development and testing, with hands on.
- Implement, enhance, and maintain automated tests using existing framework
- Execute, analyze, and debug results of product test automation.
- Proactively and effectively communicate status, plan - of - action, and resolution of issues
- Work affectively to deliver on planned and committed schedules, through holistic ownership over assigned product areas and projects.
- Actively participate to attract, hire and retain best talents, building the team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Experience in Perl Programming
- Hands on technical experience with and solid knowledge in Network and Application protocols, especially HTTP, OSI model, Web applications, UNIX / Linux Operating systems required.
- Experience in QA methodologies and Web Applications testing cycles
- Experience in product development methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, CI/CD
- Knowledge of C++ is a plus
- Experience in engineering of WEB Applications and security products, Client and Server sides, including technologies: Selenium WebDriver, MySQL, Apache
- Knowledge and experience in IT and Data Center technologies, including various virtualization solutions such as VMware.
- Knowledge in network and WEB security threats and execution techniques.
- Solid analytic/trouble - shooting skills.
- Successfully manage ambiguity with limited direction.
- Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast - paced high - performance environment.

Qualifications :
- A degree in Computer Science or a closely related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software and testing development
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and collaboration skills required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Duties are performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the manual ability to utilize a computer keyboard, the ability to communicate over the telephone, and the ability to read printed material. Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane. Duties will require being on call periodically and working outside of normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
