Purpose of the Job:

Key Result Areas (Principal Accountabilities) 

 

  • Prior experience in US accounting is required. 
  • Excellent understanding of cost accounting principles including best practice allocation methods such as FTE, Weighted FTE and space. 
  • Strong analytical review skills 
  • Clear understanding of audit and accounting terminology and excellent accounting communication skills 
  • Strong staff training skills. 
  • Diligent deadline orientation 
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills 
  • Flexible work schedule (basically we will need them to work US day shift hours) 
  • Experience in US accounting and software like QuickBooks Online, GP, FE, MIP etc. 
  • Excellent understanding of standard audit procedures to ensure the ability to populate auditor data request portals with complete, meaningful, and accurate information. 
  • Ability to standardize and package finance related presentations for prospects, directors, and client finance committees. 
  • Ability to provide analysis in concise standard accounting formats for presentation to management and directors. 
  • Perform monthly Revenue Variance Analysis and Quarterly Trend Analysis. 
  • Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 
  • Compile and review operating budgets with a design that flows directly to the Chart of Accounts for data measurement and variance analysis. 
  • Robust reporting and deep drive analysis of data, and report flow. 
  • Review client monthly checklist and ensure timely delivery of quality services as per defined process by the client.  
  • Participate in weekly or monthly calls with client and resolve client queries/concerns. 
  • Manage and provide guidance to the team, review the work done by the team and ensure timely completion of work by the team as per client daily/weekly/monthly deadlines. 
  • Performance analysis of the team and maintaining monthly MIS. 

 

 

Knowledge and Skills 

 

Educational Qualifications: 

 

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA / Inter CA (Not pursuing CA) / CA 

 

Work Experience: 

 

  • 5-9 years accounting background, preferably having experience up to finalization of accounts and handling a team. 

 

Other Prerequisites: 

 

  • Required to work in shifts. Based on business/project requirement will work in US hours. 
  • Prior work experience in MNC & matrix organization. 

 

Extent of Public Contact 

  1. Frequently serves as a representative of Quatrro to various organizations within the industry and broader community, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions. 
  1. Continually serves as a representative of Quatrro to the clients, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions. 
  1. Frequently negotiates contracts, answers questions from accounting staff, and interacts with division corporate staff. 

 

Working Conditions and Environmental Attributes 

 

Working Days: Monday - Friday 

Working Hours 9 hours (US work Shift Pattern), mix of WFO and WFH. The working hours may get 

                           extended due to nature of the business. 

 

The employee must be willing to work at a location in a small-to mid-sized office setting, plus attend client conferences and meetings that may or may not be held during the workday. Travel to other Quatrro locations or client offices may be necessary, as well as physical presence at company meetings with other offices throughout the globe.
