B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Write unit testable quality code folllowing best practices

• Work with a team to design and develop world class responsive SPAs

• Own technical deliveries by a small team of developers (1-3)

• Participate in requirement and feasibility analysis

• Aanalyse performance, security, scalability considerations of design

• Participate in technical discussions with customer teams.

• Ensure quality of the deliverable and adoption of development best practices/methodologies. perform code reviews.

• Demonstrate project updates in Sprint Reviews

• Assist on effort estimations and technical planning for a given set of functional requirements

• Assist, oversee and mentor junior developers

• Stay up to date with the technology trends in the industry

Technical Skills

• Excellent programming skills with good understanding of Object oriented programming concepts

• Good hold on object oriented design principles

• Good understanding of test driven development and should be able to write unit testable code using any of qUnit, Jasmine, mocha/sinnon etc. frameworks.

• In-depth knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS

• Exposure to JS frameworks like Backbone, Angular, etc.

• Expertise in developing responsive web applications

• Excellent debugging and optimisation skills

• Good understanding of JS profiling techniques and tools

• Should be able to contribute to technical design documents (TDD)

• Good understanding of relational databases and ER modelling.

• Good understanding of data exchange format like XML and JSON

• Should be able to manage code generated by a small team using source control tools like SVN, Git or Mercurial

• Typescript, Javascript, nodejs, AngularJS, React, Backbone

• Understanding of relational databases and ER modelling

• Experience in developing hybrid mobile applications

• Prior Experience on the AGILE/SCRUM

• Exposure to unix/linux based systems
