Ensures functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems by
1) performing routine construction, operation, maintenance, testing and repair of frequently used (measurement) equipment, so that measurements of the required quality can be made in time in the field,
2) assisting with more complex handbooks and/or working on less frequently used equipment,
3) helping seek solutions from daily work experience,
4) reporting repetitive problems with equipment, working processes and hazardous situations and,
5) escalating complex tasks to the Senior Workshop/Maintenance Technician when required. Works with moderate supervision and standard operating procedures. Requires senior secondary vocational education or equivalent professional and intellectual capacities and relevant work experience. Job is performed in the field and/or workshop.
