What you will be doing Minimum 7 Years experience as a Oracle database engineer/DBA. Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC, ASM, Golden gate ,Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios Experience in database migrations and upgrades Experience in troubleshooting various installation and. patching issues Experience in Oracle engineered systems like Exadata, Oracle Database Appliance Experience in Golden Gate replication Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure - quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations. Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends . Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues. Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills. What you bring: Database performance monitoring and tuning: Closely monitor performance, identify problems and perform RCA and implement solutions. Database backup/recovery: Ensure that data recovery time objectives are established and met, verify implementation of accurate backup strategy, develop recovery procedures, support recovery from loss of data caused by user or system error, should be well versed in RMAN.
