Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic UI/UX Designer (Angular) who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design. The candidate shall have a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets. Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand. Producing high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes. Create self-contained, reusable, shareable modules with largely decoupled architecture using custom. directives/filters/services where appropriate. Testing UI elements and identify UI problems through analytics data or user feedback. Manage the primary tasks of debugging to identify code issues or performance bottlenecks. Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior. Collaborate with Backend Developers and Product Managers to improve usability on components related with Angular application Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design. III. Supervisory Responsibilities May coach and mentor less-experienced team members. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or similar area of study. 3 to 5 years of previous experience required. An additional four years of related experience may substitute for the Bachelor'sdegree. B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements NA Skills/ Other Requirements Practical (Hands on) Experience working on complex cloud-based software projects, web application development, security, and open-source technologies. Must Have: Front End Technology: Proficiency in angular Knowledge of CSS, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NgRx/Redux. Strong understanding of server-side rendering, client-side scripting, and AJAX techniques Tools: Jira or other equivalent requirements/project management tool SDLC: Agile Scrum Test Methodology Good to Have: Knowledge of wireframe tools Knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop One or more of the following: Software Configuration Management Tool such as GIT Experience developing responsive UI. Familiar with Webpack and Angular/React CLI Experience with CSS Flexbox, CSS grid layout, Angular Flex-Layout, or other fluid or responsive design frameworks Experience consuming RESTful APIs Knowledge of enterprise coding standards Hands on experience in writing highly complex code Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to change. Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
